 Tatranska Lomnica is one of the most famous ski resorts in the High Tatras and center of tourism and sport. Major tourist and holiday resort is the starting point in the central and eastern part of the High Tatras.
After 2 World War II, Tatranska Lomnica became an important center of international tourism and recreation. In addition to new hotels and lodging facilities were built well-equipped shops and services, administrative buildings, health center, ski area, and large housing estates. In the village there is a Lutheran church in late 1902 and the summer residence of the Tudor Széchenyi r.1913 known as "the old museum." The settlement is located Reports Tatra National Park.

Throughout the center there is a total of 8.6 km of pistes, 4-seater chairlift at Rocky Mountain Lake, 2-seater chairlift to Lomnické sedlo and ski lifts in the resorts of Blueberries and pits.
