Stary Smokovec - High Tatras
Ski resort of Stary Smokovec on the slopes Slavkovsky peak is important starting point in the central part of the High Tatras. At present, it is the administrative center of the High Tatras. Is the seat of municipal authority, there is a center of the Tatra mountain rescue service, hotels, car rental, travel agencies. The settlement is an important transport junction with branch lines Tatra electric railway and cable car to Hrebienok. There are easy and moderately difficult slopes. On Hrebienok can get funicular railway. From Hrebienok to Stary Smokovec leading toboggan run, 2.6 km long.
